Samsung Galaxy S24 Leak: Flattened Screens, Real-Time AI, and Titanium Elegance Revealed

Samsung Galaxy S24 Leaks Suggest Premium Titanium Build, Flattened Display, and Advanced Features

In the latest developments surrounding Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series, leaked information unveils key details about the upcoming flagship devices.

The leaks reinforce speculations of a flattened screen design for the Ultra model, accompanied by innovative features such as real-time AI translations in messaging applications.

As is customary during this time of the year, details of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S line tend to surface months before their official launch. Consequently, information has surfaced regarding the Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra, presumed to be the names of the upcoming models.

Recently obtained official Samsung images, as reported by Windows Report, showcase the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a redesigned flattened screen.

This aligns with an earlier leak by Twitter user David Martin, who shared handheld images of the purported S24 Ultra, revealing sharper screen edges reminiscent of the changes introduced with the regular S23 earlier this year. The leaked images also highlight a new gray color finish.

In addition to the design changes, there are indications that Samsung will introduce on-device generative AI software on the S24 devices, leveraging the company's Gauss model.

According to the leaks, this technology will enable real-time translations in messaging apps, supporting over a dozen languages. Furthermore, Samsung's demonstration of the AI-powered "Zoom Anyplace" camera framing feature, powered by a Qualcomm AI engine, is anticipated for release on a future device.

Recent findings by Android Authority reveal that the FCC has published significant processor and modem specifications for the S24 line.

While the chip is not explicitly stated, the information suggests that all S24 models in the US, including the S24 Ultra, will be equipped with Qualcomm modems featuring Smart Transit functionality.

There remains a possibility that international versions of the standard S24 may incorporate Samsung's own Exynos processors and modems, as seen in previous years.

In terms of hardware upgrades, the S24 Ultra is expected to feature a titanium frame, an enhanced 50MP 5x telephoto camera, improved vapor chamber cooling, and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities.

Despite these enhancements, leaked specifications indicate that the S24 Ultra will maintain consistency with the previous S23 Ultra model, featuring a 6.8-inch Quad-HD screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, similar storage options, 12GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models, as previously indicated in a September leak, share similarities with their S23 counterparts in terms of design.

However, they introduce new color finishes in onyx black, marble gray, cobalt violet, and amber yellow. Notably, the S24 Ultra now offers color options that align with the regular S24 phones.

Additional details from the leaks point to a larger 6.7-inch Quad-HD screen, a 4,900mAh battery, and increased RAM at 12GB for the S24 Plus. The regular S24 will see marginal increases in screen size at 6.2 inches and battery capacity at 4,000mAh.

It is important to note that Samsung has not officially announced the successor to its Galaxy S23 smartphone line released earlier this year. Based on historical patterns, if the leaks prove accurate, these phones are likely to be officially unveiled early next year at a Samsung Unpacked event.
